“Please note: Builders, Farmers, Tradespeople, ect [sic] often need larger vehicles for work. This is fine. I am after people who “need” a 4WD for camping twice a year, or soccer mums who “need the extra space”.” — What Can One Person Do?
How do you know which I am? I organize my errands so that we go out in the Suburban (and can you tell if it’s 2WD or 4WD?) no more than 2xs/week. When I’m at the grocery store or doing another mundane task, how would you know that I don’t also have a delivery of 600 lbs of grain in the back?
The car that does the most driving in our household gets around 35mpg. I purchase carbon offsets for all of our cars and other travel. I try.
I don’t think you can judge this book by its cover. Some days I look like a farmer. And other days I actually look like the soccer mom you profess to be “after”.
