I’ve wanted a millstone for ages. It’s the best way I can think of adding a water feature that would be safe around the kids. However, they’re rare and quite expensive. This one is fiberglass! And only 25 lbs. Hmmmmm…

Bee Skep in the Mud

skep 150x150 Bee Skep in the Mud

When the greenhouse gets built, it will be with straw bales and covered with a mud mixture. Because of the nature of the mud, it is possible to sculpt images into the walls. I was thinking about what I’d like to see everyday out there. While a bee skep is outdated for actual beekeeping, I think it’s an adorable icon.
