You know all those artsy photos of your cat, or the MySpace-esque bathroom self-portraits littering your Flickr account? They might actually be worth something.

Getty Images will be trolling the online photo site to find shots worthy of a commercial licensing deal. In the next few months, Getty will extend invites to Flickr members, who will then have the opportunity to participate in a collection created by the photo house. Getty will become the exclusive commercial rights manager of the photos.

“Flickr is the ideal partner as we continue to move the imagery industry forward by offering the broadest range of high quality digital content to our customers,” Jonathan Klein, co-founder and CEO of Getty Images, said in a statement.

Technology details are still sketchy. Getty and Yahoo, which owns Flickr, are currently building online tools that will help editors contact Flickr members and add images to their new collection.

Yahoo! predicted that thousands of images will be available for licensing on gettyimages.com in the coming months.

“Getty Images offers an unbeatable platform, licensing expertise, and a premier brand for Flickr members who want to bring their imagery to a worldwide customer base,” said Kakul Srivastava, general manager for Flickr.

gray water package units

Researchers are of the opinion that we are going to have shortage of fresh water very soon. So it is high time we start thinking and working on saving as much water we can. This can be done if the water is recycled that is once reused. Here is the concrete step to support the idea with Gray Water Package Unit from Brac Systems. The complete package unit is available in Construct Canada and has been approved to be used anywhere.

This unit filters the used water from shower, bath and laundry and supplies it to be reused in the flush of your toilet. It has been so designed that the recycled water or grey water will be used only for flush system and irrigation system and will not enter into our drinking water system. This unit even filters the foreign particles from water and makes it almost like the normal water. The most important thing is that we are doing something to help save our ecosystem. After the whole unit is attached to our existing plumbing, it goes on working smoothly and continuously.

The sinks, basins and toilets provide enough water for toilets and thus we can save almost half of the water that is being used today. The tanks are available in three sizes, RGW-250, with a tank capacity of 250 lts., RGW-350 with 350 lts. capacity, RGW-450 with 450 lts. capacity. You can buy the complete package in two thousand bucks and that too of negligible maintenance. You will have to clean the filter every three weeks and add a chlorine tablet every six weeks.
